100 PERCENT OF REGISTERED STUDENTS WRITE EXAMINATION(S)
…as exercise holds smoothly on Friday, 17th February 2023
Despite initial skirmishes around the different locations in the state that resulted in the scarcity of public transport, students of the Lagos State University, on Friday, successfully wrote their examination(s)under a calm atmosphere in the University, Main Campus, Ojo, Lagos.
When the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics), Prof. Olufunsho A. Omobitan, and Dean, Students’ Affairs Division, Prof. Tajudeen Olumoko, as well as members of the Centre for Information and Public Relations went round Faculties to monitor the exercise, this evening, it was apparent that not only did the students write their examination under a calm atmosphere, no student missed his/her examination as was feared in some quarters.
At the Faculties visited to monitor the examinations, which included; Social Sciences, Management Sciences, Education, Science, Arts and Law, the Deans/Examination Coordinators assured that 100 per cent of students who registered for the examination took part in the exercise.
“Even those who arrived late were allowed to write the examination(s)”, said one of the Departmental Heads who was invigilating.
The examination is set to continue on Monday until Thursday, 23rd February, when students are expected to go on an examination break to allow them exercise their franchise in the upcoming general elections.
